MY STORY
The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
- Alan Kay
AI & Agentic Engineering · Platform ModernizationDevOps Automation · Software Engineering
With more than 25 years of software engineering experience, my career has evolved from designing and developing applications to modernizing enterprise platforms, architecting cloud solutions, and building sophisticated DevOps automation. Throughout that progression, I've focused on solving complex engineering challenges, streamlining development processes, and building reusable solutions that improve how software is developed, delivered, and maintained.
Today, I'm extending that foundation into AI and agentic engineering, combining deep software development expertise with Microsoft Azure, GitHub Enterprise, and emerging AI technologies such as Claude, Codex, and Copilot. I'm particularly interested in exploring what's possible through hands-on prototyping, evaluating new approaches, and applying engineering judgment to build reliable, maintainable AI-driven solutions.
Along the way, I've continued to expand my technical expertise through professional certifications, specialized training, and hands-on experience across evolving engineering disciplines.
CREDENTIALS
The most important skill to acquire now is learning how to learn.
- John Naisbitt
Certifications have always been my way of staying honest about what I know. I started with .NET, added Azure and DevOps as my work moved to the cloud, and over the last few years GitHub and AI. What I learned in one keeps showing up in the next, and today that whole foundation goes into building AI solutions that actually hold up.

EXPERIENCE
The most dangerous phrase in the language is, "We've always done it this way."
- Grace Hopper
Senior DevOps Engineer
Xebia, Atlanta, GA
My experience at Xebia has taken me beyond the familiar boundaries of software development and Microsoft-focused engineering into a broader world of technical consulting. Working across multiple client engagements, often simultaneously, I've helped organizations, from small development teams to global enterprises, modernize their development platforms and delivery processes. Each engagement brings different technologies, engineering challenges, and governance requirements, pushing me to adapt quickly and develop practical solutions tailored to each client's environment.
My role has expanded beyond hands-on engineering to include technical discovery, solution evaluation, client presentations, and pre-sales consulting. Working alongside architects and engineering teams, I've helped clients navigate complex source-control and CI/CD migrations, evaluate unfamiliar platforms, and address security, compliance, and integration challenges. As Xebia expands its AI-focused services, I'm continuing to build my expertise in AI-assisted engineering and technical enablement.
Principal Azure DevOps Engineer
ANDMORE, Las Vegas, NV
At ANDMORE, I modernized Azure infrastructure and improved software delivery for a large wholesale marketplace organization, providing technical guidance to approximately 200 developers. My work spanned cloud architecture, DevOps automation, and platform migrations, with an emphasis on replacing inefficient processes with reusable engineering solutions.
I helped standardize development practices, strengthen security, and improve cloud governance and infrastructure management while simplifying how engineering teams built and delivered software.
Azure DevOps Engineer
It Works! Marketing, Palmetto, FL
As part of the architecture team at an international beauty and wellness marketing company, I helped modernize Azure infrastructure and establish more consistent engineering practices across the organization. My responsibilities spanned cloud architecture and infrastructure automation, application deployment, security, and operational support.
A significant part of my work involved transforming manual processes into intelligent, self-service solutions that simplified infrastructure provisioning and software delivery. I also collaborated with development teams to improve their understanding of Azure technologies and explored emerging cloud capabilities through hands-on research and proof-of-concept development.
Senior Software Architect
Azure DevOps Engineer
DataAge Business Systems, Clearwater, FL
Modernizing an established financial transaction platform required more than moving its infrastructure to the cloud. My role involved reworking the architecture and development practices behind DataAge's flagship software, which supported point-of-sale and business operations throughout the pawnbroker industry.
I combined hands-on software development with cloud architecture, refactoring legacy applications using test-driven development, SOLID principles, and established design patterns to improve reliability and maintainability. I also helped establish an in-house technical team and integrated external hardware and software services into the company's applications.
Software Architect
MarineMax, Clearwater, FL
Connecting the many systems behind a nationwide marine dealership network was central to my work at MarineMax. I designed and developed custom application services that brought together dealership information, inventory data, financial transactions, and external business integrations.
I developed REST APIs and event-driven services that allowed independent systems to exchange information more effectively. My work also included authentication services, credit reporting and payment processing integrations, internal application development, and automation to simplify everyday dealership operations.
Senior Software Engineer
Auto Internet Marketing, Clearwater, FL
During my nine years at Auto Internet Marketing, I developed and modernized web applications that supported online lead generation across the automotive, financial services, and education industries. My responsibilities spanned application architecture, software development, database engineering, and server infrastructure, including maintaining high-transaction systems and improving the performance and reliability of established applications.
Beyond application development, I introduced source control, automated .NET builds, and Agile practices to improve collaboration and software delivery. I also modernized legacy ASP.NET applications and helped maintain the server and database infrastructure supporting the company's operations.
